tumbling class descriptions

  • Tumble Bunnies (Age 2)

    This 30 minute is a 30 minute progressive class for toddlers that develops balance and coordination, works on gross and fine motor skills, as well as building physical and social skills

  • Tumble Bees (Ages 3& 4)

    This 45-minute class allows active preschoolers to develop a love for tumbling while increasing their physical fitness. The program helps to increase your child's strength and flexibility. In addition to greater physical fitness, they will also practice and develop social skills such as following directions, waiting their turn, sharing, and working together with other children.

  • Tumble Bugs (Ages 5 & 6)

    This 60-minute class uses a progressive program that accelerates skill development one step at a time, building confidence as they master each skill. The program also helps to increases your child's strength and flexibility. In addition to greater physical fitness, they will also practice and develop social skills such as following directions, waiting their turn, sharing, and working together with other children. Skills taught include: front rolls, headstands, cartwheels, round offs, and bridges.

  • Beginning Tumbling (Level 1)

    This 60-minute class is a beginner level class that teaches introductory skills such as forward/backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and bridges.

  • Intermediate Tumbling (Level 2)

    This 60 minute class is an intermediate level class that focuses on acquiring skills such as round off back handspring and standing back handspring as well as beginning standing back tucks. This is the foundation for advances skills, with a focus on body awareness, motor skills, flexibility, control, and proper technique.

  • Advanced Tumbling (Level 3)

    This 60 minute class is an advanced level tumbling class that focuses on acquiring and perfecting skills such as standing tucks, back handspring back tucks, layouts, and fulls, standing fulls and double fulls. Requirements are standing back handspring and round off back handspring series with out a spot.

  • OPEN GYM

    Open Gym every Saturday from 10:30 AM to Noon. $5.00 for Members $8.00 for Non-Members

  • Special Needs Class (All Ages)

    This one hour a week class is on Sunday's from 1:00-2:00.It is taught by certified and trained teachers and coaches that have specialized degrees in working with children that have special needs. This class focuses on increasing their physical fitness and motor skills. In addition to greater physical fitness, they will also practice and develop social skills such as following directions, waiting their turn, sharing, and working together as a team. All ages and abilities are welcome.

  • School Squads

    This class is designed to fit the goals set out by your coach and instructor. Squad coaching includes assistance with half-time routines and the alteration and perfection of competition routines. This is structured around but not limited to; tumbling, stunting, jumping, and motion perfection.

  • Cheer Class

    This class is designed for those interested in cheerleading and learning cheer basics. This class deals with motions, jumps, flexibility and basic stunting. At the end of every five week session there will be a short performance of what they have learned. NO TUMBLING is involved in this class unless they are already acquired skills that are put into a routine. This class may develop into different levels.

  • Stunt Class

    Our stunt class is a 4 week session starting April 8 offered to all athletes who have prior experience in cheer at Tumble X or with a school team. Our stunt classes will teach several technique drills and sequences for flyers, bases and back spot. At the end of the six weeks, participants will perform all stunt sequences taught. This is class is a great way to improve stunting skills for tryouts. Levels 1 & 2 Stunting will be held from 6-7pm, Levels 3 & 4 will be held from 7-8pm. Register at the front desk.

  • Cheer Try-Out Prep Class

    Are you getting ready for cheer tryouts? Cheer tryout prep class will be offered starting on February through May. This class will help you acquire the skills needed for your school tryouts. Please call the training center if you are interested in participating in this class!

  • Private Lessons

    TX Training Center offers private lessons. The lessons are scheduled with the TX Trainer. As a courtesy, we will take information from customers wishing to engage in private instruction. That information will be passed along to trainer who may wish to contact the customer to set a private lesson appointment. More than two students in a private lesson must be approved by management. All fees are paid directly to the private lesson trainer.

  • Choreography

    Tumble X, Inc. has choreographers on staff to choreograph a competitive cheer routine or any other performances that you may want choreographed. Please contact us for additional information.

  • Space Rental

    Have your team practice at TX Training Center. Prices available for practice space rental either with our instructors or without. Contact the front desk at 260-478-1709.
